Glass Shadows is an enigmatic band from Austin, Texas, weaving a haunting fusion of goth, electro, and psych. Co-founded by Erick Sanger—guitar and drum tech for Japandroids, Weezer, and Modest Mouse—the project began as a deep emotional release through sound. Joined by ethereal vocalist and lyricist Sarah Castro, and now featuring keyboardist Anmei Ladeau, the trio crafts cinematic, atmospheric music that channels the spirit of Mazzy Star and Depeche Mode. Known for their moody instrumentals and themes of heartbreak and isolation, the band performs behind a screen, their silhouettes merging with immersive visuals. Glass Shadows invites listeners into a world of mystery, emotion, and raw artistic expression.
