Golfball Jr.

Golfball Jr (not related to or endorsed by the USGA) was started by Alaskan native, Warren “Gunz” Garcia. He got his big break when he moved to San Francisco in 2019. There, he surfed the Worldwide Latina Belt for many years while concocting the historic “cringe-core” movement of punk rock. A number of singles and demos were self released and passed around via cassette tape for the span of 2 years. Finally, Golfball Jr’s debut full length album “Golfball Jr” was released on White Glove Records in 2021. After which he toured the bay areas local club circuit, and in turn adopted notoriety for putting on chaotic live performances with the help of a rotating cast of local rockers that make up his backing band; often referred to as “The Golfball Blues Explosion Big Band.” 2022 saw the release of single “She’s Heaven” and 2023 came with the enticing track, “Sucker”. Just when things started to get good…a drunken gang brawl was ensued outside of Madrone Art bar, causing him to flee to New York City to avoid legal trouble. During his small stint in the big apple, he participated in gang activity and the exotic rug aftermarket to fund the release of his sophomore album, “Memory Museum.”Unfortunately, Gunz was forced to abandon NYC and join a witness protection program in Los Angeles County.
