Good Time Mystery Vision (GTMV) is a five-piece Brooklyn/NYC rock band built around original songs, dual vocals, big melodies, fuzzed-out guitars, warm keys, bass, and drums. David Jacobson (guitar/vocals), Ava Zhou (vocals/percussion), Garrett Troy (drums), Kyle McManus (bass), and Amanda Cattel (keys) make music that can be melodic, heavy, tender, and danceable—but its center of gravity is always rock and roll. Formed in 2017, GTMV has brought its high-energy live show to Mercury Lounge, Nublu, Our Wicked Lady, The Sultan Room, TV Eye, and stages across New York. The 2020 album Be Good launched a growing catalog of studio singles and live recordings, with a steady run of new releases in 2026. Big songs, loud guitars, rich harmonies. Dance your blues away.
