At GRENADE, the air is suffocating, charged with revolt and desire for elsewhere. Caught in a volcanic sound where the tension and melancholy of a suave voice recalls the British crank wave (Folly Group, Squid, Do Nothing...) GRENADE was born from the meeting of David Orts and Jules Couturié. The two multi-instrumentalists are charged with the same energy, and were quickly joined by Ambre Tholance (Ménades) a colorful punk character. The trio relies on angular guitars, snappy drum patterns and captivating vocals. It stretches a thread between indie rock and post-punk, always looking across the Channel. GRENADE has cut its teeth in small Parisian venues and has released its first EP « White Lies », mixed in Brigthon by Theo Verney (Egyptian Blue, English Teacher) and mastered by Mickaël Rangeard (Iggy Pop, Stuck in the Sound, General Elektriks, Last Train...).
