GRUUVE is the alias of Argentine-born, Barcelona-based producer and DJ Tomás Acosta, known for his distinctive Deep and Tech House productions, where percussion is his signature element. A self-taught artist with a clear vision, GRUUVE has consistently avoided generic formulas and built his name through creativity, authenticity, and perseverance. His breakthrough came in 2016 with the Wrong File EP on Deeperfect, which quickly captured the attention of key industry figures. Since then, he has released on respected labels such as Jamie Jones’ Paradise, DOSMUNDOS, Muse, and his own imprint MUUV. In the summer of 2023, his two-track EP on Paradise received massive global support and marked another major step in his career. His 2021 release “Cloud” on Glasgow Underground reached #1 on Beatport’s Deep House chart, staying there for three consecutive months and finding a place in the USBs of top-tier DJs, including Franky Rizardo and David Guetta. GRUUVE has continued to build his presence in the global scene with performances in key venues, particularly in Barcelona where he’s a regular at iconic clubs like Macarena. His influence stretches beyond Spain, with international support and appearances around the world. Throughout his career, he has earned consistent support from industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Dennis Cruz, Steve Lawler, and Nic Fanciulli.
