Guido la Vespa

“Music adds the color to your day” is a life motto of „Guido la Vespa“ (aka TV anchorman Guido Heuber). A passionate fan of electronic music, he has been DJing since his school days — and not a single week goes by without some sets behind the decks. Since 2018, the electronic music enthusiast has also been active as a producer. Together with Karsten Kiessling, he founded the project CATS ON BRICKS, which is now continued with CHIAZ and other DJs / producers from across Europe. Their first single, “Unstoppable,” immediately entered the charts, and every following release has also become a success — including millions of streams for „Turn Back Time“ and over 100K monthly listeners on Spotify with CATS ON BRICKS. With DJ Chris Cooper the DJ/producer project FREI:KLANG was started successfully in 2025, focusing on melodic & deep techno. Last but not least, „THE MASCHINIST“ is a pure steampunk/punkrave DJ/producer project Guido is also the founder of. Since 2019, Guido has performed at some of the world’s biggest events, including Ultra Music Festival (Miami & Europe), Hï Ibiza, Elrow, Rave On Snow, Electric Mountain and Pacha Munich. As a longtime radio professional, Guido Heuber has also founded, advised, and led several web radio stations to the top of the radio charts.
