An underground jazz artist.
Hari Nandu is an electric solo bassist living in the heart of the lower east side of Manhattan. Hari’s style blends elements of jazz and classical music drawing inspiration from artists such as Michael Manring, Damian Coccio, Jeff Schmidt and Jesús Rico Peréz. Playing both 5 string bass and the fretless Zon Hyperbass, Hari’s solo compositions are both elegiac and energetic. His first release “Sedona”, is an instrumental song written in memory of a dear friend’s baby daughter who passed away. Although her time here was short, she had a bright and inspiring vital spirit that deeply impacted her loving family and dedicated medical caregivers. Her story continues to inspire other families with children who have complex medical conditions. Music can provide a healing touch in times of intense grief, and the process of writing this song was helpful for Hari. He hopes that others who listen to this piece can gain a glimpse of her beautiful spirit and be part of her legacy, her butterfly effect. Please visit https://www.sedonabutterflyeffect.org, the nonprofit organization founded by her parents to inspire parents with babies at risk for/or diagnosed with cerebral palsy. **All stream revenue from Sedona goes to The Sedona Butterfly Effect organization to help babies with cerebral palsy**
