Helder Boutens is a 21-year-old composer and producer from Bruges, Belgium, whose work blends classical tradition with modern culture. He followed classical piano lessons at the age of 7, until he graduated at the conservatory of Bruges. Helder began releasing music in 2018 under various names, experimenting with lo-fi beats and ambient textures. In 2023, he returned to his roots, releasing classical music under his own name and simultaneously launching his YouTube channel Helder. By embracing the dark academia aesthetic and pairing atmospheric visuals with emotive piano works, his channel quickly went viral, reaching millions within its first months. Helder’s compositions continue to find new audiences across platforms.
