Hailing from McAllen, Texas, brothers Joel and Leonel Espinoza are the duo behind Hermanos Espinoza—one of música Mexicana’s most exciting emerging acts. Their roots trace back not to a music studio, but to their family’s small restaurant—a space that instilled in them a deep sense of discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. It was also within those walls that their appreciation for music first took shape, laying the foundation for what later came to be Hermanos Espinoza. Music has been a constant in Joel and Leonel Espinoza’s lives, shaped early on by their father, uncle, and family gatherings. It was in those moments that they were first introduced to instruments and began learning how to play. Over time, they continued developing their skills on their own—Joel teaching himself the accordion, and Leonel learning both the bajo sexto and bajo quinto. Together, they’ve created a sound that reflects their roots while adding a personal touch. Recently signed to Double P Management, Hermanos Espinoza are quickly making waves with over 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and exciting new projects on the horizon.
Hermanos Espinoza play Música Mexicana, blending traditional norteño with modern corrido styles, featuring accordion and bajo sexto. They are known for tracks like "FREESTYLE" and "DIOS POR DELANTE".
