Hiba Tawaji

Since 2008, Hiba Tawaji has become one of the Arab world’s most influential voices, known for her powerful presence and artistic versatility. In 2024, just months after a landmark concert at the legendary L’Olympia in Paris, she performed under the direction of Maestro Gustavo Dudamel with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France for the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral – a historical event broadcast to millions worldwide. Her eclectic career includes collaborations with Andrea Bocelli, Lara Fabian, Florent Pagny, Ibrahim Maalouf, Luis Fonsi, Matthieu Chédid and Pentatonix (on a Grammy-nominated album). In 2017, she made history as the first female artist to perform in Saudi Arabia. In 2019, The Walt Disney Company selected her as the French-speaking and singing voice of Princess Jasmine in the live-action Aladdin. With eight albums to her credit and a celebrated portrayal of the iconic Esmeralda in the revival of Notre-Dame de Paris(in France and on a world tour), she transcends borders, performing in Arabic, French, and English on the world’s most prestigious stages. She was awarded the National Order of the Cedar by the President of the Lebanese Republic in recognition of her artistic contributions in Lebanon and abroad. Her performances, praised for their historic and universal dimension, highlight her artistic openness and her presence at major cultural events on a global scale.
