High June

High June adopt an old school approach to make new school rock. These five musicians get together face-to-face, play live until their fingers practically bleed, and write songs steeped in truth. The Greenville, NC quintet—Jack Flowers [lead vocals], Will Sain [guitar], James Barbee [guitar], Ryon Gerringer [bass, backing vocals], and Hayden Church [drums]—bring grungy grit back to 21st century hard rock, drenching hummable hooks in distortion and cigarette smoke. These musicians first rallied together during their time as students at East Carolina University. Once all five members got in the same room, instant chemistry sizzled. In 2024, High June independently made waves with “After Hours” followed by the It Never Really Mattered EP, which housed their breakout “Coming Home Soon.” Along the way, they emerged as the rare band versatile enough to hold their own on bills with either The Black Crowes or Dexter and The Moonrocks. For as much as they gained renown for energetic and cathartic performances, their songs struck a deep emotional chord with fans. 2026’s “You’re Sorry” went viral and took flight fueled in part by a flurry of posts tagged with phrases like, “If you ever think of me, just go listen to High June.” With buzz behind them and countless gigs already in the rearview, the boys arrive as the kind of rock band their generation needs—unafraid to open up, yet undeniably ready to kick ass on stage.
