An underground blues rock act.
Holebones is a modern blues project born in Milan in 2019. Known for their raw yet contemporary sound, the band blends traditional blues energy with modern influences. Their name, a playful nod to Milan’s ossobuco, reflects both cultural roots and irony. In 2021, they released LOUD, a debut album reimagining blues classics, spirituals, and protest songs through sounds spanning gospel, hip-hop, r’n’b, rock, stoner, and grunge—an unconventional but cohesive take on the blues. They will soon release their second album which will feature original songs – the natural evolution of the path started with LOUD: a blues that is rooted and authentic, yet projected towards a contemporary language, designed to speak to a new audience without betraying its origins. LINE-UP Andrea Caggiari - lead vocals, bass Heggy Vezzano - guitar, backing vocals Niccolò Polimeno - guitar, backing vocals Nik Taccori - drums, backing vocals
