Homicide Jenny is a Miami glam punk band born in late 2025 from a Hinge match gone right. Lead vocalist Dani Gonzalez originally made a profile searching for bandmates, not romance, and matched with Carlo Barbacci from noise-rock band Mold! Drummer Catherine Toruno and bassist Sylvia Heilmaier joined in, together forming Homicide Jenny, a name approved by Lydia Lunch. The band channels a powerful mix of riot grrrl, ’70s punk, noise rock, no wave, garage, and surrealist sleaze inspired by David Lynch and John Waters. A debut album arrives this August alongside a Florida tour.
