Hunted Like Thieves

The collective of HUNTED LIKE THIEVES out of Zürich, Switzerland, first got together in 2013. Whilst having their background mainly in the Hardcore and Punk scene, the band managed to carve out its very own musical blend, consisting of raw energy, sheer emotions and lyrics which have a personal as well as a social-critical approach. After two albums (“On The Edge of Giving In” – 2021 / “Echoes” – 2015) and an EP (“Control” – 2017) HUNTED LIKE THIEVES return with a new release, “Overflow” in November 2025. “Overflow“ is HUNTED LIKE THIEVES' musically most elaborate work to date and brings out the essence of the band. The title is a reflection of the musical as much as the lyrical content. Many of the texts deal with the spectrum of emotions that we often find ourselves in, in our modern times: The feeling of being overwhelmed in an increasingly complex, often depressing world – life in a multi-option society which suggests that we can become “everything”, but which holds the threat of losing access to our very own selves. On the other hand, “Overflow” stands for the sensations and feelings that only music is capable of conveying: Exuberant enthusiasm, overflowing emotions, but also grief, sadness and despair. The songs on "Overflow" embody this catharsis in the most passionate, honest and unfiltered way possible.
