Hunter

Hunter represents powerful heavy metal, averse to subgenres and stereotypes. A combined century of experience and all sorts of influences come together as a mighty brew that tastes like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manilla Road, Metal Church, Omen and Cirith Ungol. After having written their first songs, Hunter hit the stage in the summer of 2017. In the same year the band recorded three demo tracks, which appeared on their EP 'Death Shall Have Dominion'. In December 2018 Hunter recorded their first full-length album. The self-titled debut was released on April 27th 2019 and has been critically acclaimed by the press and heavy metal enthousiasts across the globe. The album was listed on Sentinel Daily's Top 100 Albums of 2019 (Australia) and Denim & Leather's Top 30 Metal Albums of 2019 (USA). American glam metallers Steel Panther highlighted Hunter as one of the most promising acts in underground heavy metal. Hunter has played support shows for international metal bands, such as Riot V, Victory and Tygers of Pan Tang. Hunter's song 'Dominion' can be heard in the Flemish motorcycle racing movie 'Rookie' (2021). In 2022, the band made a memorable guest appearance in Larian Studios' Panel From Hell, performing a metal version of the 'Baldur's Gate 3' song 'Weeping Dawn' and their own 'Knight of the Black Rose'. In September 2023, Hunter released their second studio album, titled 'Rebel Angels Rise'.
