Italian four-member jazz group composed of Maurizio Majorana (bass), Antonello Vannucchi (organ), Roberto Podio (drums), and Carlo Pes (guitar). The name I Marc 4 (or Marc 4) comes from the initials of the members. The group carried their prominent funky style by mixing pop, jazz, cinematic lounge, funk, easy listening, psychedelic music, and Avant-garde sounds into library music and soundtrack productions in Italy in the 60s and 70s. I Marc 4 played and recorded most of Armando Trovajoli's compositions. They also played and recorded with well-known Italian composers such as Ennio Morricone, Piero Umiliani, and many more.
