Icarian PB1

Icarian PB1 is a techno DJ and producer who has been active on the electronic music scene since the 1990s. He quickly became a resident at the iconic Prague club Sluníčko. Performing under the name Flashback, he played at numerous techno events across Central Europe, including a legendary appearance before the first Prodigy concert in Prague after the fall of the totalitarian regime. With the rise of digital DJing, he began creating and performing his own tracks live under the name Icarian PB1, a tribute to the legendary Czechoslovak sci-fi film Ikarie XB1 and the utopian Icarians. In 2024, he performed at the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event. He is also a resident DJ at Prague’s Pulse22 and Pekelnej Bar, and the founder of the Pulse Techno collective, which brings together both emerging and established artists. His music has been released on labels such as Audio Fabric Records, Bass Controllism (Belgium), and NO PAIN Records (Germany). Icarian PB1 is known for his versatility, performing as a digital DJ, a classic vinyl DJ, and a live act, showcasing his passion for all forms of musical expression. His sound blends hypnotic grooves, driving rhythms, and influences from the rich legacy of techno culture.
