Encrusted black sludge from Oakland California. Past members of forest doom trio Treeherder (2015). ALBUM REVIEW "Looming lands like a collapsing cathedral–stone, smoke, and something ancient smashed beneath the floorboards. In shame deal with riffs so dense they feel federally regulated, drums that move at the pace of continental drift, and vocals dragged up from the trench where sunlight signed a non-compete. The whole thing lumbers forward with the confidence of a glacier that knows it will outlive you. It's obscene. It's glorious. It's heavy enough to make you stare into the void for a solid week. Fans of Graves At Sea will recognize the same funeral gravity and narcotic churn–the kind of doom that settles into your bones and sets up long-term residency. This is monolithic sludge executed with frightening clarity–an album that doesn't crush so much as patiently lowers the sky." (Revolt of the Apes)
