Engdal Silseth var da medlem i gruppen Ridderne av Det Norske Hus, og Tøien i gruppen Verbal SNCz. De to gruppene (og tre enkeltstående), som henholdsvis ikke hadde så mye til overs for hverandre, slo seg sammen og dannet rapkollektivet Dirty Oppland.
