An underground polish jazz artist.
Jadźka Kłapa is a musician from Poland. She grew up in Ustroń, a small town situated in the south-east of Poland, so the elements of the musical culture of that region enrich this material. She sings and plays the saxophone and piano. Her compositions constitute the descrtiption of a personal journey through the depths of life and death’s borderline, of which she is a discerning and perceptive observer. She writes the lyrics in Polish, and she composes music drawing from her experience in the musical heritage of the mountains and forests from which she comes. The whole project is exquisitely complemented by prominent musicians well known and higly regarded not only in Europe, but also far beyond it’s borders. At present Jadźka is finishing the work on her second album.
