Prague & Los Angeles based singer, songwriter, lyricist, and actress. Jana's career launched after winning the TV Nova talent competition Rozjezdy pro Hvězdy. Soon after, she released her debut album Zamilovaná Ničitelka (Monitor/Warner Music Czech Republic), earning the title New Talent TV Nova Český Slavík Mattoni Music Awards in 2003. In 2005, Jana became a resident performer at the SeMaFor Theatre, where she spent seven years. She went on to appear at Kalich Theatre, Royal Theatre, National Moravian-Silesian Theatre, National Theatre Prague, taking on lead roles primarily in musical comedies. Artistically, she began shifting away from dance music, gravitating toward jazz and alternative sound. In 2010, Jana relocated to Los Angeles and was granted permanent residency for extraordinary ability in performing arts. In the U.S., she continued working in musical and experimental theater while collaborating on several music projects, primarily in jazz and alternative rock. The most significant was The Infinite Seas (ICG LA LLC) which co-earned her 2 wins and one nomination in USA in Alternative Rock categories. Today, Jana splits her time between the Czech Republic and the United States, writes new pop-rock music, and embraces her full creative independence.
