Besides jazz and improvisational concepts she is one of the lead singers and songwriters in an estonian modern folk band Pillikud. In summer 2018 they toured around Europe and gave concerts in Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Portugal. As a singer and composer on her own, she is influenced by childhood euro-pop as well as modern jazz. Her lyrics talk about our weird society, complicated relationships through her eyes. Her music is related to artists such as LAura Mvula, Ellen Andrea Wang, Studnitzky, Bob Reynolds, Oddjob, Jacob Collier etc.
Jana Kütt plays contemporary and vocal jazz, blending sophisticated acoustic arrangements with improvisational concepts and modern harmonic structures.
