A nostalgic big beat act from the local scene.
Formed in 1981, Jasná páka is a prominent Czech underground rock band celebrated for its raw guitar-driven big beat and striking vocal contrasts between gritty male leads and piercing female choir harmonies. Despite facing bans by the communist regime in the 1980s, the group forged a distinct path in the Czech alternative scene, later evolving and reuniting to maintain their influential status. Their music blends urgent punk energy with memorable melodies that defined an era of Czechoslovak counterculture.
