An underground uk r&b artist.
Jay Alexzander is an independent artist blending the soulful depth of neo-soul with the smooth allure of commercial R&B, creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary. Since first picking up a pen at 16, his songwriting has earned admiration from industry legends, including Grammy Award-winner Billy Ocean. From intimate venues like the Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho to major stages across the UK as well as internationally, Jay has made his mark in the live music scene. He has toured with a number of artists as a backing vocalist as as a frontman. His journey has also seen him open for Yolanda Brown at Jazz Café and Snarky Puppy in Liverpool, further solidifying his presence in the industry. A two-time MOBO Unsung finalist and a featured artist on the 2017 MOBO Unsung Tour, Jay continues to carve out his own lane. With a series of mixtapes, singles, and EPs already to his name—his evolution as an artist shows no signs of slowing down. Whether on stage or in the studio, Jay Alexzander is an artist with a voice that resonates, a story that captivates, and a sound that lingers long after the music stops.
