Jean-Charles Acquaviva is a french jazz and classical pianist and composer. He presents compositions that are part of a fresher and more immediate approach to music. He founded his trio and he released in 2019 his first album "WeatherGroove" was awarded with Trophée du Sunside2019 and the trio won many prizes around the France (GoldenJazzTrophy2018, Jazz Oloron2019...) The trio offers a melodic jazz with pop colors, combining freshness and depth, both in composition and in performance. The vitality of his compositions flourishes in the art of the trio and with his two accomplices he energetically takes the audience into his joyfully contemplative universe. Passionate about classical music, a legacy of his childhood education, he also presents compositions on the edge of neo-classical.
