Jide Kuti

Hey, I’m Jidé. I’m a singer/songwriter who was raised on way too much Anime and Disney. This means every song is as intimate as it is existential and world-shattering. My music kind of operates in between soul, folk and pop. I like heartfelt storytelling, I like adding in a bit of soulful warmth and I LOVE making music that hits you in the feels. I feel my music is pretty personal whilst also being pretty accessible (hopefully!) I’ve been performing and writing for a long time now – it’s literally my favourite thing to do. I’ve played in some super cool places, and it’s wild to think about how far music can take us sometimes. That being said, the stage is one of the places I feel truly at home. My music is a big extension of who I am, and I’ve got an EP coming out soon called ‘The Open Book’ that I’ve poured my absolute being into.
