jjjacob

jjjacob is a Copenhagen-based electronic artist whose work spans from meditative ambient minimalism to high-intensity, club-driven experimental sound. His compositions move between fragile, introspective passages and rhythmically forceful structures, often combining distorted samples, melodic synthesis, and fragmented percussion into emotionally charged soundscapes. In 2020, he founded the independent label katharsis, which has grown into a platform for emotionally driven electronic music and transnational collaboration. Beyond releasing his own work, he operates across curation, visual identity, mastering, and editorial framing — shaping a cohesive yet evolving framework around the label’s output. He has performed in cities including Paris, London, Milan, Belgrade, Tallinn, and Melbourne, sharing lineups with artists such as Evian Christ, Ecco2k, Swan Meat, Spinee, Hyph11e, S280F, and Blank Banshee.
