A stylish, nostalgic glam metal act.
Founded in 2012 as an 80s rock cover band, JDATROL quickly became one of Europe’s most entertaining live acts. After their first German show in March 2013 and appearances at Wacken Open Air 2014 and 2015, the band caught the attention of record industry insiders and began writing original material. Their debut album “Mama Said Rock Is Dead” (February 9, 2019) entered the official German album charts at #24, followed by “American Amadeus” (2021) and “The Big Easy” (2023), further establishing the band’s trademark mix of huge hooks, massive choruses and pure rock’n’roll escapism. Over the years, JDTROL have played more than 400 shows across Europe, including Wacken Open Air, Alpen Flair, Full Metal Cruise or Rock Of Ages as well as tours with Kissin’ Dynamite. The band also shared stages with Def Leppard, Europe, Scorpions, Doro, Accept, and many more. For a long time, the band cultivated a larger-than-life mythology around its “American” identity complete with stories, rumors and enough hairspray-fueled fiction to fill an entire Sunset Strip documentary. But let’s be honest: you didn’t really believe all of that, did you? Today, John Diva & The Rockets Of Love proudly embrace what they really are: probably the most American rock band Germany has ever produced. Their new album “Your Favorite Drug”, produced by Hannes Braun (Kissin’ Dynamite), will be released on October 16, 2026, delivering massive riffs, soaring choruses and unapologetic stadium rock energy.
John Diva & the Rockets of Love play high-energy glam metal and arena rock, combining massive 80s-style choruses with modern studio production.
