An underground, raw experimental folk artist.
Jonah Giuliano is a Brooklyn-based experimental folk artist and sound explorer who blends traditional Appalachian instrumentation like the dulcimer and banjo with avant-garde drone, mixer feedback, and field recordings. Their work bridges old-time roots music with modern noise textures, creating immersive acoustic environments. Releases such as Source Ordinary and Slipshod Scrimshaw showcase a distinct lo-fi aesthetic grounded in acoustic and electroacoustic experimentation.
