Jordan Frye makes music that feels sun-soaked and free-spirited. Rooted in California’s Laurel Canyon tradition, his sound combines the timeless craft of singer-songwriters like James Taylor with the melodic optimism of modern pop and the restless energy of ’90s indie rock. Raised in Ventura, California, Frye grew up immersed in surfing, skateboarding, and music. After discovering songwriting and performing through his local church community, he spent years touring, fronting bands, and honing his craft as both an artist and songwriter. Along the way, he built a diverse career behind the scenes, writing and producing music across pop, rock, Gospel, and country while developing a reputation as a versatile collaborator and storyteller. On July 31, Frye released daydreaming (summer deluxe), featuring four new tracks that further expand the album’s vivid world of memories, reflections, and imagined possibilities.
