Jorge Padilla is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and producer from Philadelphia. Jorge delivers deeply meaningful messages in his pieces, ranging from climate change activism in his first self-written and self-produced song "Where Will We Go?", to raw depictions of depression and mental health in "Drift Away" as well as long-distance love in his ballad "So Far Yet So Close". Music has been a great source of healing for Jorge during the darkest moments of his life. Knowing that his music can have the same effect on others and potentially lift people up from their circumstances is extremely fruitful and gratifying to him. He wants to be a role model for those who come from similar upbringings and wishes to inspire others in the face of adversity to follow their dreams no matter what obstacles may hinder their progress. "If I can bring light to people's days in that way, then that is all that matters and all I could ever ask for." IG @ theesunbro
