As a result of infinite curiosity and a broad musical culture, Juanfe went from the guitar to the bass to delve into a long investigation of this instrument in flamenco. Thus, he has found his own language and technique, which he has been developing while collaborating on different projects and composing his own sound imagery. Finally, he has captured his entire journey with the bass in his first album, Prohibido el Toque, a project in which he composed, arranged, and produced all the songs, nominated for the 2023 Latin Grammy for best flamenco music album.
