An underground ambient jazz artist.
New album 'Momentary Movements of Landscapes' will be released April 10th, 2026 by FatCat Records / 130701 Records. Combining ambient minimalism with modern classical nuance, Mäki-Patola continues to develop a distinct sonic language—merging genre-blurring aesthetics with a tactile sense of place. "Juha Mäki-Patola has mastered his craft over the last decade looking after many other artists. Now it’s time for his creativity to take centre stage. With beautifully crafted releases like this, Juha will be capturing the imaginations and hearts of many modern classical and classical ambient fans for years to come. Delightful." - Simon Smith, Higher Plain Music "Elusive, hovering and trembling with atmosphere – immersive music that is good for any soul." - John Parry, Backseat Mafia "Spacious, immersive, and stunning" - John Schaefer, WNYC New Sounds
