An underground acoustic pop artist.
Jule is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, lecturer at the Carl Maria von Weber Music School in Dresden, as well as organizer and artistic director of the Giengen Guitar Festival in Germany. Moments that conjure true encounters and moving experiences and memories are what Jule’s music seeks to give her audiences with her virtuosic guitar playing and extraordinary voice. She effortlessly moves between different styles of concert guitar, complex fingerstyle arrangements, vocalisms, and her songs that she sings with great passion and poetry. Her solo performances feature her self-written songs alongside original arrangements of covers. Jule’s long-anticipated new album, Seagull, will be released on April 5, 2024. All but four songs on the album are originals written by Jule, including the singles "Free Your Mind," "Soulfriend," and "He Waited." The songs on the album reflect a personal journey - from finding the courage to pursue dreams, to navigating storms along the way, to flying on and trusting in yourself.
