With their initial single Film Noir, they set a marker for their music, dramatic and impressionistic lyrics, enigmatic music and always a sense of a dark mysterious world filled with drama. They were a favourite of John Peel and played constantly in London including gigs at The Rainbow, The Lyceum, The Camden Palace, The ICA , The Marquee and UK touring.
