Kathy Murray developed her vision of the blues in the formative days of the Austin music scene, jamming with luminaries like Stevie Ray Vaughan, W.C. Clark, and members of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. A blues singer and songwriter par excellence, Murray has won the Australian Blues Music Association’s “Songwriter of the Year” award, and the band’s new CD, “Premonition of Love”, just won two Silver Medals in the 2018 Global Music Awards. Kathy Murray & the Kilowatts synergistically combine their talents into a one-of-a-kind Texas roots music experience.
