Born out of the creative stagnation of the pandemic in 2021, Keli Holiday became Adam Hyde’s escape - a space for heartbreak, sonic exploration, and reinvention beyond the multi-platinum, ARIA Award-winning success of his other musical project, Peking Duk. Now, Keli Holiday is gearing up to release his sophomore album, Capital Fiction - a bold, uninhibited statement on sex, love, rock ‘n’ roll, and everything in between. From the modern-day romance of ARIA Award-winning single ‘Dancing2’ to the electrifying rush of ‘More’, Capital Fiction captures the essence of who Keli Holiday truly is. As anyone who has experienced a Keli Holiday live show will attest, a heaving, sweat-soaked room is where the Keli Holiday experience really comes alive. “The live show is where I really get my kicks as far as bringing the songs to life. I think people finding my music on the internet is cool, but there’s no better feeling than giving it to them face to face, sweat to sweat, cheek to cheek. It’s called a show for a reason. It’s my duty to put on a show and get them loose and sweaty.” Getting set to tour the album around the country, and the world, from March, Keli Holiday is preparing to take his music to the world. “I love this job and I’m grateful to continue the pursuit of ideas. I will be releasing Keli Holiday albums until the day I drop dead. I want to continue to chronicle my life in strange little words on a bed of music that feels right for that zone in my life.”
