Kemi Amos is an independent artist, storyteller known as the creator of GOL⚡️. Her genre-defying work blends classical, theatrical, folk and rock influences into cinematic experiences where music, myth and storytelling become one. Her music serves as a sanctuary for the unheard and unseen, shaped by her own journey of transformation, healing and artistic reinvention. After stepping away from music for more than a decade, Kemi Amos returned with a renewed purpose, transforming years of growth and self-discovery into her debut album, AWAKENED which became the defining moment that shaped her artistic identity and gave birth to GOL⚡️ (Goddess of Love). GOL⚡️ is an extension of Kemi Amos' inner world. Born from her own journey of rediscovering herself, GOL⚡️ became a way of expressing the lessons, fears, strength and healing that shaped her return to music. Kemi Amos believes that sometimes we need to step outside of ourselves to truly see who we are. Through the world of GOL⚡️, we find parts of ourselves reflected in the story. GOL⚡️ can become a soul companion, an alter ego, or a reminder of the strength that already exists within us.
