Kety Fusco
Kety Fusco is an Italian-Swiss harpist and composer reshaping the harp into a radical contemporary instrument. Through classical training, electronics and experimental techniques, she transforms the harp into a raw sonic language suspended between avant-garde, club culture and cinematic sound. From the Royal Albert Hall in London to the Montreux Jazz Festival, from the stage of the Festival di Sanremo to Teatro La Fenice in Venice and SXSW in the United States, her performances have brought the harp into entirely new territories. Supported by The Guardian, BBC Radio, ARTE France and Iggy Pop, Kety Fusco has become one of the most distinctive voices of the new avant-garde scene. Her album BOHÈME, featuring Iggy Pop, together with her new collaboration with Jeff Mills, opens a new chapter in her mission to rewrite the future sound of the harp.
