A stylish, homegrown trip hop artist.
Kidä is a New York–born artist, producer, and sound engineer fusing trip-hop, new age, ambient, and nu-metal into an unclassifiable soundscape — both futuristic and evocative of ’90s underground. A featured vocalist on Yves Tumor’s “Lovely Sewer” and producer of Gaika’s Drift, she’s recognized as one of underground music’s most forward-thinking architects — a hidden force shaping the edges of contemporary sound. Through her studio A PORTAL TO JUMP THROUGH, Kidä expands her practice into installation and sound design, with works presented at the V&A, Hayward Gallery, Venice Biennale, Sónar, Somerset House, Paris Fashion Week, NYC Collectible Fair, and CDMX Design Week.
Kidä plays an experimental blend of trip-hop, ambient, and nu-metal characterized by intricate sound design and sultry vocals.
A Portal To Jump Through is Kidä's multidisciplinary audio-visual project delivering immersive scores and sculptural installations for galleries and fashion presentations.
