KOSCHKA – aka Edita Karkoschka – is a singer, composer, and producer based between Berlin and Brittany. Blending influences from PJ Harvey, Agnes Obel and the evocative depth of Romantic-era compositions, she creates music that is both timeless and unconventional. Until the end of 2019, she was the frontwoman of the German-Dutch indie-pop band NAUSICA, touring across Europe and supporting artists such as Son Lux, Miya Follick, and Poliça. With a distinctive timbre that shifts between rough, dark depths and clear, emotional highs, she creates a striking balance of intimacy and intensity. Sparse instrumentation give her music an arresting quality, infused with a haunting elegance. Her work has been supported by Atwood Magazine, NOTION, The Revue, NBHAP, Soundtrack Of My Life and German radio station Radio Eins.Since 2025, she has been signed with international publishing agency Wise Music / Bosworth, joining a roster that includes composers and artists as Hania Rani and The Notwist. Her self-produced debut album KOSCHKA, offering a sonic world both intimate and cinematic, was released on March 29, 2024, via the Berlin label St. Vladimir. The album, mixed by studio Zodiaque in Berlin and mastered in New York by Emily Lazar and Chris Allgood, presents a carefully curated selection of original songs alongside bold reinterpretations of German Romantic-era works compositions. In May 2026 KOSCHKA returns with a new single „Should I have Told You“.
