Criminal Elephant was formed in 2002 AD by studio musicians to create music for theatre, animation, and film. Danel Aljo (saxophone), Eno Kollom (percussion), Henry Tiisma (bass), and Kaspar Jancis (guitar and composer) have recorded four studio albums, as well as the original soundtrack for the film Röövlirahnu Martin. After a successful accompaniment to the cult classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922), the band has gone on to compose countless tracks for plays, TV shows, animations, and other media. Criminal Elephant is best known for its eclectic sound, high energy, and unexpected twists and turns—whether they’re tackling waltzes, klezmer, oriental, or rock music.
