“Kush” Rashaun McAnuff (Master Drums/Lead vocalist /Movie star), was born into a famous musical family his father being the legendary Winston ‘Electric dread McAnuff . KUSH a professional drummer in his right. Kush started rehearsing with his Father’s band “Black Kush Band" 1994 then move one to "SunRise Band"1995 "King David Band"1996 Breeze Band.1997 to 2001. Step by Step Band 2002 to 2004. Rasta Uprising 2005 to 2006. Sun-rise bank 1997 - 1998, Breeze Band 1999- 2002, Step by Step 2003 -2005, Rasta Uprising 2005 - 2006. Uprising Roots Band 2007 to 2016. Inna de yard from 2008 to 2023. Kush McAnuff also have his solo career relesing is first solo album Heights Region. Produce by Kush McAnuff and Shilohites. while learning his skills by observing some of the best in the business, such as “Horsemouth”, Sly Dunbar and Carlton Barrett. Style Scott. Kush has recorded and toured extensively with the “Inna De Yard all-stars” headed by musical director Earl “Chinna” Smith. From 2008 to 2012. He is now the band leader for Inna de yard and still tour up to this day. Kush as the lead singer and Drummer for the Uprising Roots Band is not your average drummer.
