Kyra India is a singer-songwriter finding anyway to dip their toes into honest and in depth story-telling. Their love of music, performing, and writing amounted to their Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music. Kyra India specializes in R&B sounding music with indie-style lyrics, combining two unlikely genres into one. Kyra India finds influences in artists just as eclectic as them such as Amy Winehouse and Phoebe Bridgers. In Kyra India’s music, their raw and authentic lyrics focus on expressing themselves in the strongest way they can whether that be about relationships, grief, growing up, etc. Not only does Kyra India express themselves through music but through mental health advocacy found within and out of their music. Kyra India uses their platform on Instagram to share knowledge, resources, and personal experience with mental illness.
