Kyunchi is a candy-coated, gender-bending hyperpop artist known for their post-modern sound that blends MySpace-era bubblegum punk with post-internet aesthetics. Originally from Russia and splitting time between New York City and Tokyo, their music explores themes of gender, beauty, and life in the digital world through super saccharine songs and a unique kawaii-inspired visual identity. Kyunchi's sound is both nostalgic and futuristic, characterized by blippy synths and ear-wormy vocal hooks.
