Lail Arad
An underground indie folk artist.
Lail Arad is a London-born singer and writer, known for her sharp lyrics, arresting voice and singular live shows. She has released three acclaimed studio albums, published a book of lyrics, toured extensively and opened for the likes of Television, Jeffrey Lewis and Ezra Furman. In 2017 Lail teamed up with Canadian songwriter JF Robitaille, touring extensively throughout Europe, Canada and India. Songs from their duo album Wild Moves (2025) were featured in the movie Tripped Up (Universal Pictures). Lail recently produced and curated 'The Songs Of Joni Mitchell' which debuted at the Roundhouse in 2024 with guests including Vashti Bunyan, Jesca Hoop & Kate Stables (This Is The Kit). Following sold out tours and rave reviews the show returns in 2026, including a special performance for International Women's Day at London's Southbank Centre.
