Lakesnakes are real estate holdouts on valuable land along a lakeside golf course in Texas. They refuse to leave their home for above average price offers and refuse to join the HOA. In all fairness, the Lakesnakes were there first, and over the years the area became a rich, nice neighborhood. They are therefore not mandated to join the HOA, which of course they don’t, which of course the HOA despises. The HOA tries to make their life hard. The neighborhood elites and country club members don't care much for their antics, what with the beer drinking and can collection in their yard, the Lynyrd Skynyrd blasting through the speakers aimed at hole #4, the spray paint art on the roof, well you get the idea. Lakesnakes are misunderstood, lovable idiots who enjoy rocking out and staying true to what they feel is right in their degenerate hearts.
