Lasgo burst onto the scene in 2001 with a unique blend of energetic beats, emotional melodies, and captivating vocals. Founded by Peter Luts and David Vervoort, the Belgian dance act scored seven top 10 hits in their homeland and achieved worldwide success with anthems like ‘Something’, ‘Alone’, ‘Surrender’, and ‘Pray’. After David’s departure, Jef Martens joined Peter to continue the project. With over five million albums sold (‘Some Things’, ‘Far Away’, ‘Smile’) and awards including two WMCs, a TMF, Smash Hits (UK), and BMI (USA), Lasgo became one of Europe’s most iconic dance projects. The group toured the world for nearly a decade, playing sold-out shows across Europe, the US, Brazil, and Asia. Their legacy lives on with 1.6 million monthly listeners and over 160 million streams for ‘Something’. In 2023, Peter Luts launched a search for a new vocalist and found Nikki Born, whose voice brings fresh energy to Lasgo’s timeless sound. Since 2024, Nikki has been touring with Lasgo across Europe. In 2025, the group returns with the comeback single ‘Ride The Storm’ and a full summer tour — marking a bold new chapter in the Lasgo story.
