An underground shoegaze act.
Leeb0rn (sungaze-alternative, CZ/SK) Leeb0rn describe their own genre as 'sungaze' – a brighter sibling of shoegaze that can’t handle staring at the sun, or listening to a single riff, for too long. While on their EPs The Pulley System (2019) and Reach One’s Destination (2021) they leaned toward guitar-driven melancholy, their more recent work opens up to sonic experimentation and more personal lyrics. The album Hauau (2024) expands their stylistic range from shoegaze and gothic rock all the way to lo-fi pop. The hazy textures of guitarist Honza Srostlík and the atypical rhythms of drummer Dominika Srostlíková are currently complemented by Denis Bujko on synthesizers – ranging from warm analog patches to cold ambient noise. Three personalities, three songwriters, three voices. Their latest project is the soundtrack to the silent expressionist film Nosferatu (Nosferatu: Blood Is Life!, 2026), which they recorded following the enthusiastic response from audiences during live-score screenings in cinemas across the country. Dominika Srostlíková (drums, drum machines, vocal) Jan Srostlík (bass guitar, electric guitar, vocal) Denis Bujko (synthesizers, electric guitar, vocal)
