Known for her atmospheric, bucolic folk releases, today Lila opens a striking new chapter. After two years hidden in a remote countryside studio she has emerged, unveiling an elegiac folk-rock record that redefines her artistry. Her work has garnered major press coverage and international radio play. Lila has partnered with labels in the UK, Germany and Japan for vinyl, CD, and cassette releases, with her music used for sync by Sony Music. Her collaborations span songwriters such as Jackson Wooten, composer Edward Cross, electronic artist La.nskey and filmmakers Simon Lex and Hermione Sylvester. In the last year she has completed three UK/EU tours, including a solo tour of southern Germany and a 10 day UK support tour with Black Foxxes, performing at major venues such as Camden Assembly and Glasgow’s iconic King Tuts. Her latest offering, America, marks the start of a compelling new phase in Lila’s creative journey, blending her folk roots with expansive rock energy.
